All funeral policies are available with an HIV/AIDS inclusive or exclusive option.

All policies enjoy double the cover in case of accidental death.

What is the difference between a dependent and a beneficiary

Dependent:  A dependent can be added to your family policy and will also enjoy funeral cover according to the terms and conditions of the policy.

Beneficiary:  A beneficiary is the person nominated on the application form who will receive the monetary proceeds of the policy in case of the death of the policyholder.

What benefits do I receive?

Payment of the insured amount of the funeral benefit to a nominated beneficiary or your estate to assist with the expenses related to your funeral.

How do I claim?

A claim form, together with a death certificate and relevant medical documentation, has to be submitted within 90 days of the death of the insured member to the nearest Stanbury Life office.

Once I have claimed, what happens next?

The claim will be assessed and if approved, the funeral benefit will be paid within 72 hours to the nominated beneficiary or the estate.
